BOARD of GOVERNORS 2025

National delegates and observers to the Board of Governors and members of the Office of Secretary General of the European Schools.

Arrival: Participants are requested to attend the afternoon session of TFES2025 on Tuesday, 08 April 2025 from 15:00.

TFES2025 will conclude with an evening reception for all participants and all delegations attending the Board of Governors Nicosia 2025. Please see the preliminary program The final program will be confirmed by February 2025.

The Spring session of the Board of Governors 2025 will take place in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, from 09-11 April 2024.

Participants are provided with complimentary transfers, according to the program. Pick-up locations will be announced at a later date, for those participants not staying at the listed hotels.

Larnaca International (LCA) is the largest airport, located on the island’s south coast. The TFES2025 venue in Nicosia is located approximately a 47 minutes (52 km) drive from the meeting venue.

Paphos International (PFO) is the smaller airport, located on the island’s west coast. The TFES2025 venue in Nicosia is located approximately a 1 hour and 44 minutes (142 km) drive from the meeting venue.

Please note that LCA and PFO airports are the only legal entry points in Cyprus.

The Kapnos Airport Shuttle Service (https://kapnosairportshuttle.com) provides a timely and reliable transfer to Nicosia from both airports, although less frequently from PFO.

For transfer from both airports, please consult: www.visitcyprus.com. Depending on your budget, you may consider taking a taxi directly from the airport. Pre-set rates are available on the site.

Cyprus is a popular destination in April. In order to find the most convenient flights and availability, we recommend booking your tickets as soon as possible.

Temperatures in Nicosia on the days of your visit are expected to range from a high of 21°C. The BoG Nicosia 2025 venue is climate-controlled.

For those sensitive to the sun, be sure to pack protective sun cream and a hat.

Complimentary coffee breaks are offered by the Cyprus Presidency.

All lunches on all days, the Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening (09-04) and the Cultural Dinner on Thursday evening (10-04), will be offered by the Cyprus Presidency.

If you are staying at any of the listed hotels, and will also be attending TFES2025, a brief orientation in the hotel lobby will be held on Sunday, 6 April at 18:30 for all visiting participants. A member of our team will be there to answer questions and provide any updates.
